What is HbA1c and What are its Limitations?

The test tells us what percent of the Hb in your red blood cells has bound to glucose from your blood stream over the cell's life span, usually between 90 and 120 days. Since this test works by investigating the Hb protein within the RBCs, and anything that affects any of these two can result in inaccurate readings. There are many common things that fit into this category.
